Enhanced Login Security

By now you have probably had some experience with our new Enhanced Login Security. Here are a couple of common questions and answers related to this:

Why aren't there any Challenge Questions like"What is your mother's maiden name?" or "What is the name of the street you grew up on?"?
Those questions, though common on other websites, are not as secure as subjective ones like, "What is the name of your favorite actor?", because your mother's maiden name or the street you grew up on is information that can be found in public records.

What do I do if I forget the answer to my Challenge Question?
If you forget the answer to your challenge question and are still able to login to Dort Online Banking™ through another computer, then you can update your challenge question and password there by clicking on the 'User Options' button and then clicking on the 'Challenge Question Setup' link.

If you forget the answer to your challenge question and are not able to login to Dort Online Banking™ anywhere, then you will have to call us at 810-767-8390 (or 1-800-521-3796) and we will have to reset your Online Banking password. The first time you login to Dort Online Banking™ after you have been reset you will be prompted to setup your Challenge Question again.
